Adults

We have various opportunities for the men and women of our congregation and community at large to come together to share fellowship, have Bible study, and/or break bread. (As good Presbyterians, we never meet without at least having coffee and usually some kind of food...)

FOR EVERYONE
New Member Classes - Have you been attending as a visitor, and are you interested in becoming a member? Let the church office know of your interest so we can include you in a New Members Class!
Food Pantry - The Deacons are always looking for helping hands for this distribution. We distribute food to those in need every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 3:30 pm.  If you are available to help with the distribution or packing of the bags, please contact the church office or one of our Deacons.
Textile Social - this group meets the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Thursday of each month at 9:00 am in the Social Hall. Bring a project, or help with our ongoing projects, or just come to visit. Bring your own sack lunch and ideas!

Chancel Choir - SATB choral group, with a leaning toward the traditional sound. If you like to sing and wish to share in the ministry of leading the congregation in praising the Lord through song, the Choir will gladly welcome you.
The Chancel Choir is led by Music Director/Organist Kay Boyne. Their musical concentration is on weekly anthems, leading the hymns during service, and the annual Christmas Cantata.
The choir meets for practice each Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, September through May. June, July, and August, they come in earlier before service on Sunday and get in a little extra practice then. We invite anyone with an interest in music to join.
For further information about the Chancel Choir, please contact the church office or Kay.

FOR MEN

Men's Study Group
 -
Come and join our men! They'd love to have you stop by.
As Presbyterians, one of the directives through the Great Ends of the Church in The Book of Order (G-1.0200) is "the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God".
Join the men each Friday at 9:00 a.m. in the Westminster Room.
Share coffee, donuts, and fellowship. Share time and the Bible and discuss the topic of the day - be it political, biblical, or otherwise.

FOR WOMEN

Picture
We have several opportunities for women to share fellowship, partake in bible study, and help in ministry work.

Presbyterian Women
(click to learn more) - meets monthly.
  • As a female member of the congregation, all women are an automatic member of Presbyterian Women (PW). This active group of women works year-round to support ministries to which they have pledged funds, to help with the mission of the church, and to further the discipleship of women. PW meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at noon in the Social Hall for a general membership meeting. Stop by to see what is happening next.

Circle - meets monthly except July and August. Circles are smaller groups within the PW association of women. As explained by PC(USA): "A Circle is:
  • Where faith is nurtured and growth takes place through worship, study, friendship, and outreach.
  • Where women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits.
  • Where women move beyond the safe places of life and reach out to others.
  • Where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth into ministry."
  • Currently, Circle 3 is our only active Circle, but stop by for the meetings and share in bible study and fellowship.

A weekly Bible study group for women takes place each Wednesday in the Westminster Room beginning at 9:30a.m. All women of the community are invited.
This group does a monthly mission for some organization in need within the local community. The mission usually involves collecting items they are in need of.
Stop by, share the Good Word, and help in the latest mission project.
